Highway 17 Twinning Schedule Still Unclear

The Ministry of Transportation is hoping to start twinning Highway 17 between Manitoba and Kenora shortly.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says there’s 40-kilometers of road that’s set to be twinned.
However, construction may be delayed as some want to see the new highway moved north of the existing road bed to help protect water quality on Clearwater Bay.
