Traffic is moving smoothly on a damaged section of
Highway 17 west near Pinewood Resteraunt.
The Ministry of Transportation recently re-opened both
lanes of traffic on the under reconstruction roadway.
MTO Spokesperson Dave Mccoll says they tore up the
damaged area, grated it, and then poured calcium to harden
the road surface.

The final construction work is expected to start the
week of August 7th, and will take several weeks to
complete.
