The Ministry of Transportation says Highway 72 between Sioux Lookout and Dinorwic has reopened after yesterday’s flooding.
The MTO reported water was covering both sides of the highway about 5 km north of Dinorwic, and drivers were forced to take Highway 599 or Highway 642 as a detour.
Reports said a beaver dam broke in the area, causing the flooding.
