Highway Work Well Underway

Reconstruction work on a 15-kilometre stretch of Highway 11 is well underway near Atikokan.
Miller Northwest of Dryden was awarded the $5.5-million contract and work is expected to be completed in September.
The rehabilitation is funded under the Province’s Northern Highway Program and has created some 40-jobs.
The work includes repaving, improved grading and drainage and culvert replacement as well as upgrading the Lerome Lake Dam.
