Most highways in the region remain closed Thursday morning due to the weather and poor road conditions.
Highway 17 remains closed all the way from the Ontario/Manitoba boundary to Shabaqua.
Highway 502 between Dryden and Fort Frances is also still closed.
Other road closures of note:
-Ignace/Pickle Lake: Highway 599 between Highway 17 junction to the end of the highway
-Sioux Lookout: Highway 642 between Highway 599. Both Directions between HWY 516 (N) – HWY 72 (S) – KING ST (W) and SEC HWY 599. All lanes closed.

Highway 11 between Fort Frances and Shabaqua Corner has reopened.
Highway 1 into Winnipeg is listed as open, but most of the Trans-Canada in Manitoba is snow covered with blowing snow.
