“Hillary’s Ride” Makes A Stop In Dryden

A cross-country bike ride is raising awareness about mental health issues.
Bill Werthmann and two others were in Dryden this afternoon, as they spoke to people about depression, suicide and other issues affecting youth and young adults.
Werthmann’s daughter Hillary passed away 10-years ago from suicide, and Werthmann came up with the ride two-years ago.
The riding group started off in Victoria, British Columbia on May 8th and their journey will end in St. John’s, Newfoundland in late July.
The next stop for the group is Ignace on Tuesday, where they will be camping at Birchland Trailer Park.
