Historic Trip to Israel

It was a chance for the Cities Police Chief to exchange policing
techniques, procedures and safety measures.
Shayne MacKinnon has returned home after spending a week in Israel.
MacKinnon says he and 29 others from the Province received some
valuable insight on new safety and security measures.
He notes Israel has always had to deal with potential acts of terrorism
and the trip allowed him to get a first-hand look at how police are meeting
those challenges.
MacKinnon says these are fascinating times in Israel as the Country strives
for peace and notes he was proud to represent the City overseas.
