Hit and Run in Kenora Area

A 34-year-old man sustained a broken leg and was taken to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Center following a hit and run just outside Kenora.
Witnesses say a small brown car struck a Grassy Narrows resident who had been walking into Kenora.
The driver turned his vehicle around and told the victim he was sorry and then drove off.
Police say the car may have sustained some damage as a result of the collision, but the extent is unknown at this time.
