Police on the Big Trout Lake First Nation are searching for a driver a pick-up truck involved in a hit and run.
The incident took place Saturday night around 7:00, when an adult and a child were walking along a roadway in the community.
The adult was hit from behind by a black pick-up.
The victim was airlifted out of the community for medical treatment.
