Hockey Tournament in Dryden

A Boys Double “A” Bantam and Double “A” Peewee hockey tournament was held over the weekend in Dryden. The Sioux Lookout Junior Flyers beat the Fort Frances Canadians 4-2 to take the “A” side final. The Flyers were led by the trio of Quinton Loon-Stewardson, Kendall Schulz and Cortez Favot who combined for 17 goals and 13 assists over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the Dryden Peewee PaperKings ended up 2nd on the “B” side in the 10 team tournament.
