Holiday Fire Safety #2

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office is concerned this

holiday season could be one of the worst yet for fire

fatalities.

Since November 11 fire fatalities have been reported.

Spokesperson Bev Gilbert says area residents can do

their part to prevent fires from happening during the

holiday season.

Q:”…happen.” 21 seconds

Gilbert adds homeowners should always stay in the

kitchen when something is cooking on the stove.

Keep a lid by the stove so that if a fire does start,

you can slide the lid over the pot to extinguish the fire.
