Holiday Giving

The Dryden Shriners have been selling their famous Christmas Cakes and Highlander Shortbread for the last couple of weeks benefitting kids in need in Northwestern Ontario.

Many people besides purchasing the cakes and shortbread made monetary donations. Those monetary donations allowed the Shriners to give the Dryden Food Bank 186 pounds of Christmas Cakes to put in Christmas hampers. Thank you to everyone who supported!

Also recently, Manitoulin Transport made a couple of very nice Christmas donations. Manitoulin’s Michelle Johnson presented a Christmas donation of 25-hundred dollars to the Dryden Regional Health Centre’s ‘Still Me Program’ and a 25-hundred dollar contribution to Community Living Dryden-Sioux Lookout.
