A yuletide tradition hits northwestern Ontario Thursday and Friday as the CP Holiday Train is scheduled to arrive.
The festive locomotive contains 14 rail cars, all decked out in Christmas lights, decorations, music and live entertainment.
Spokesperson Salem Woodrow says they have been stopping in Canadian and American municipalities since 1999 in support of local Food Banks.
Woodrow says they have raised more than $12-million and collected more than 3.9-million pounds of food since they launched the initiative
Woodrow is encouraging everyone to attend and snap pictures for the “Capture the Spirit” photo contest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. #CPHolidayTrain
