The Chief Administrator of the Home for the Aged in Dryden says long term care facilities are not getting enough provincial support.
Kevin Queen says more money is needed to give seniors better care but believes the government is slowly starting to listen.
He notes the province now provides about $70 a day for each long term resident, but says $88 is needed.
Queen met with representatives of long term care facilities in the Northwest in Atikokan yesterday to discuss Provincial funding issues.
