She lives in Virginia but grew up in the Red Lake area. She’s come back to Red Lake for Christmas this year. She is Amanda Joy Powell.
For the last 15-plus years Amanda and her husband have served in their local church near Richmond, Virginia.
Amanda possesses amazing talent as both a singer and songwriter. Two years ago Amanda released her first digital single titled ‘This Child Of Bethlehem’. I featured that song on the CKDR Morning Show today. A perfect sound for the season. Amanda’s full album will be released in 2023.
Saturday, December 24th Amanda will be appearing at Grace Community Church in Red Lake for the Community Christmas Eve Service at 7pm. All are welcome.
