Homes Evacuated in Balmertown Sunday Night

A handful of residents in Balmertown were forced to leave their homes
Sunday night due to a gas leak.
The evacuation occured around 7 o’clock on Dickenson Road between 4th
and 5th Streets.
Residents were given the all-clear to return around 8:30 however OPP
are urging them to contact a member of the fire service to learn how to
flush their sewer system of gasoline.
