Homicide in Thunder Bay

A 49-year-old man is in custody on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with Thunder Bay’s 6th homicide of the year.
Police were called to an apartment building just after 8 Tuesday night to check reports of a man with a knife.
Officers found a man suffering a stab wound to the chest and he later died at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
A post-mortem will be conducted in Toronto and the suspect will appear in court Wednesday.
No names have been released.
