Horrific Collision on Highway 17

OPP have released details surrounding Thursday’s fatal collision on
Highway 17, about 60-kilometrs east of Ignace.
Police say an eastbound motorist had parked his car along the shoulder
of Highway 17 and walked into the westbound lane when he was struck by a
transport.
The collision forced the closure of the Trans-Canada for more then 8
hours.
The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Dennis Gutzeit of
British Columbia.
2-people in the transport were not injured.
