Horwath Voices More Displeasure With Liberals

NDP leader Andrea Horwath says the newly announced Development Corporation for the Ring of Fire mining project had better move forward.
After a meeting with Thunder Bay Mayor Keith Hobbs, Horwath said the Wynne Liberals have been dragging their feet on the giant venture.
She says they want to see a real commitment to infrastructure and making sure that processes are in place that engage First Nations appropriately.
Horwath adds she’s still waiting for details about the corporation’s purpose.
In addition, Horwath is urging the Wynne Liberals to take action as municipal governments continue to get stung badly by property tax reassessments.
Horwath says it’s unacceptable for these struggling communities to bleed taxpayers dry for decisions made by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
