Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora has closed its doors to visitors until further notice.
Hospital administration says due to an outbreak of influenza “A” in the community they have decided to restrict visitor access to protect patients from possibly being exposed to the flu bug.
Exemptions will be made to the visitor ban on compassionate grounds for people wanting to visit critically ill patients or their children.
