Hospital Still Committed to Balanced Budget

It’s not the answer the Dryden Regional Health Centre was looking for.
The Province has announced a 1.5% funding hike for Ontario Hospitals even though CEO of the Health Centre Wade Petranik wanted a 2% increase.
Petranik says factoring in inflation, the announcement is more like a 2% cut in funding.
Petranik notes despite the bad news, he is “confident” there will be no changes to programs and services.
