It was a record breaking day in Dryden and Ear Falls Tuesday.
The mercury hit 32.5 at the Dryden Airport, breaking the old mark of 31.1 set in 1976.
Ear Falls reached 30.8-degrees, eclipsing a record that’s been in place for 50-years.
It was 31.2-degrees in Sioux Lookout but that fell short of the 1976 record.
The Dryden area was relatively spared from a major storm that caused damage and power outages in Kenora.
3,000 Hydro One customers are in the dark following vicious thunderstorms and high winds.
Hydro One says the power may be out until late this afternoon.
A micro-burst swept through the area knocking down trees.
