The Dryden Fire Service is investigating the cause of a major fire at an Arthur Street Home late Tuesday night.
Crews were called around 10:30 and began an aggressive attack on the blaze in the basement.
The fire was extinguished but had burnt through the
floor and spread to the main floor.
30-Dryden firefighters deal with minus 24-weather and the fire was declared under control just before midnight.
Officials say fire, smoke and water damage is extensive.
Fortunately no one was home at the time.
