Good news if you’re wanting to clean your garage out.
The City of Dryden is hosting its Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day today.
The Rotary Club is involved in the initiative and Roger Gould says last year 368 vehicles dropped their items off at the Public Works Yard.
He also says almost 13000 kilograms of waste has been diverted from the Dryden Landfill and 237 kilograms of fluorescent tubes.
Volunteers will also be collecting flammable, corrosive, explosive and poisonous items.
