Housing for First Nations and Mining Companies

A contracting company, a Chinese business and Wasaya Group are teaming up to provide affordable housing for First Nations and Mining Companies in the north.
Dowland Contracting Spokesperson Don Wing says the agreement means they’ll build pre-fabricated homes.
He says they will look the same but instead of having a wood frame, they will have a steel frame and will be mould-proof.
The units are portable, insulated and pre-wired.
A formal signing ceremony was held Wednesday in Thunder Bay.
