The MPP for Kenora-Rainy River is warning financial difficulties at Family and Children’s Services to spread quickly across the province if the McGuinty Liberal don’t take immediate action.
The children’s aid society representing Atikokan and Fort Frances has been forced to find cost-saving measures to cover a nearly $600,000 budget shortfall.
Howard Hampton says all of the blame lies solely on the government.
Hampton wants to see the province find a solution to the local problem by the end of this week.
