The Ministry of Natural Resources has cracked down on four American hunters.
In September last year, the pelt, head, and claws of a black bear were found at the Tetu Island Lodge, north of Minaki.
It was discovered the bear was killed within 400-meters of a waste disposal site.
Edward Henn, Zeke Thompson, Steve Devick, and John Kugler are facing penalties related to the incident.
They include the unlawful killing of a black bear, hunting without a licence, and misleading conservation officers.
Henn, who is an owner in the lodge, also faces fines for licence issue violations.
The lodge was also cited for possesing illegially killed wildlife.
The four men and the Minaki lodge have been slapped with a $13,050 fine.
