An Ontario Human Rights Tribunal will be looking into the case of a Lakehead Public School student getting his hair cut by a teaching assistant last year.
Members of the school board, Thunder Bay Police Services Board and the Ministry of the Attorney General are named in the case.
A teacher’s assistant at McKellar Park School in Thunder Bay cut a 7-year-old First Nation boy’s hair.
Police services board and attorney general’s office investigators decided no criminal charges would be filed.
