Hunter Banned for 1 Year

A Sioux Lookout man has been tagged with a $3,000 fine for illegal deer hunting.
The Ministry of Natural Resources contacted the hunter last November while investigating a complaint of a freshly-killed, white-tailed deer left on private land.
He admitted to shooting the doe from a public roadway and trespassing on private property.
Paul Bohnen has also been banned from hunting in Ontario for 1-year.
