Hunter Fined for Illegal Moose Hunting

A Brantford man has been fined over $3,000 for illegal moose hunting in the Ear Falls area last October.
Mark Cadman has been convicted for shooting a bull moose and attempting to cover it up in Pakwash Provincial Park.
Conservation Officers say thanks to evidence of shell casings and DNA of moose blood, they determined Cadman shot the moose in the park and moved it to a site outside the park.
Officers seized Cadman’s firearm, which will be returned once the fines are paid.
