Hunters Fined $1,600

2-Kenora men have been fined $800 each for trespassing on
private property while deer hunting.
41-year-old Kirby Funk and 52-year-old Charles Gilbertson were hunting
last November when Funk shot a deer on property that had been clearly marked
no hunting and no trespassing.
Funk’s rifle will be returned when his fine is paid and the deer was
forfeited to the crown and donated to charity.
