Two Dryden area men have been hit hard in court on illegal moose hunting charges.
31-year-old Michael Miller of Sandford Township was fined $2,000 and banned from moose hunting for a year as well as having to forfeit his firearm.
As well, 37-year-old Richard Duhamel of Dryden was fined $1,000.
The charges were laid in November after conservation officers found the pair had bagged a cow moose when no one in the party had a valid tag.
