Hunting Precautions Heading Into Opening Weekend

The Provincial Police are reminding hunters to be careful when heading out into the bush for opening weekend.
Constable Dave Cain says each year there are mishaps, which are preventable if people take the proper precautions.
Some tips are to always wear hunter orange, know where you’re hunting and if you’re on property, make sure the property owners know you are there.
Cain adds that quads can be used on and off road at this time of year, but says the Trans-Canada Highway is off-limits to ATV’s.
