Husband in Court on Assisted Suicide Charge

A man is scheduled to appear in court in Thunder Bay Tuesday morning on charges of helping his wife commit suicide as police continue
their search for the woman’s family.
Peter Bernard Fonteece is charged with criminal negligence
causing death and with assisting in the suicide of his wife,
38-year-old Yanisa Fonteece.
Police have not yet located Yanisa Fonteece’s family.
Investigators are making a plea for her loved-ones to come
forward.
The Fonteece’s had left their home in Waterloo and were headed to
western Canada when their vehicle broke down in Thunder Bay on
February 2nd.
