A couple of policy changes for Hydro One.
Officials say they are no longer asking for a security deposit from homeowners looking to hook up for electricity.
Company Vice-President Feiro Pugliese says they’ve also extended the freeze on disconnects for another month.
Pugliese says the deadline has been moved to June 1st.
He notes a reconnect of customers over the Winter led to a large number working out payment plans to reduce their bills.
