Hydro One supplies power monitors

Hydro One says its given out more then 10 thousand power
monitors in northern Ontario in the last two months.

The promotion is aimed at getting customers to reduce their
electricity usage.

Danny Tuff is with Blue Line Innovations, the developer of the power monitor, and says Hydro One has ordered 30 thousand of the units for the pilot project.

Tuff says the units track exactly how much a homeowner
is spending on electricity during the day.

The monitors are available free of charge, but Hydro One customers have to pay shipping and handling.
