Hydro One Taking Over Cat Lake Power System

Hydro One is taking over maintenance operations of the Cat Lake power
utility transmission and distribution system.
Ontario Energy Board Spokesperson Vanda Wall says it was in the
public’s best interest to grant Hydro One an interim licence.
Wall adds Sioux Lookout hydro’s contract with Cat Lake Power recently
expired and the Company had stated they no longer wanted to provide service
for their Northern neighbours
