The Provincial Government has decided to re-route the new hydro transmission line in Northwestern Ontario.
The route will travel along existing corridors in the Dryden and Ignace Area, instead of north of Pickle Lake.
Wildlands League Spokesperson Anna Baggio says they’re in favour of the new route.
The transmission line will still service the budding mining industry and provide electricity connections north of Pickle Lake.
