Bruce Hyer launches his bid for the federal riding of Thunder Bay-Superior North.
The MP was officially acclaimed as the Green Party nominee for the upcoming federal election, Saturday afternoon.
Hyer says he hasn’t changed his priorities for the North, since going green.
“Economic development is important. We have a jobs cap around here,” says Hyer.
“We have a lot of young people, we have aboriginal people, and we have people in towns where the industries have failed. We need to find new ways to give everyone meaningful employment.”
The only declared opponent is Liberal candidate Patty Hajdu. (File photo)
