Ice Conditions #1

The Ontario Provincial Police are reminding the public

to use common sense when it comes to venturing out on ice.

Warmer temperatures are forecasted for the area, and are

making frozen lakes treacherous.

Constable Dave Cain notes some areas in the region still

have stable ice conditions.

Q:”…point.” 23 seconds

Cain adds if you are unfamiliar with the lake and are

unsure its best to stay on land.

A half ton truck recently went through the ice near the

Keewatin bridge.
