A fired up Dryden Ice Dogs team will face the Fort William North Stars
in a battle of the best in the SIJHL on Friday.
In the last outing, the Stars came from behind to beat Dryden in
overtime, celebrating the victory in front of the Ice Dogs bench.
Coach Larry Wintoneak says it’s in the back of his mind.
Puck-drop is 7:30 at the “Dog Pound” and it will mark the return of
popular Forward Merlyn Smith who was traded to the Stars this season.
Dryden sits in first place, 5 points up on the Stars.
The team will also unveil its new team jersey Friday night.
