The Dryden GM Ice Dogs continue to prepare for a new SIJHL season.
The Ice Dogs have signed 20-year-old Cameron Coutre.
The 5’9, 175-pound forward from Victoria, B.C. played the last two seasons with the Westshore Wolves of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League.
Coutre suited up for 74-games and amassed 44-goals, 56-assists, 100-points and 299-penalty minutes.
Head Coach Kurt Walsten says Coutre is the complete package and brings a skillset and speed that will put him among the elite players in the league.
Walsten says he will be a fan favourite on and off the ice.
Coutre says he’s excited to join the team in his final year of junior hockey and he hopes to be a big part in defending the title as champions of the SIJHL.
