Ice Dogs and Flyers Score Saturday Victories

An offensive explosion in the third period lifted the Dryden Ice Dogs to a 4-3 win over the Iron Range Iron Heads Saturday in Hibbing.
The Dogs trailed the Iron Heads 3-1 at one point.
Tyson Holder was the hero as he recorded the game tying and game winning goals.
Thomas Greene and Austin Lewis also found the back of the net.
Dean Shepherdson made 32-saves for the victory.
In Fort Frances on Saturday, the Sioux Lookout Flyers stunned the Lakers 3-2 in overtime.
Dane Morin scored the winner with 21-seconds remaining in extra time.
Brett Wur and Jacob Nolan scored in regulation.
Dryden’s Matt Benson made 39-saves for the win.
In SIJHL play Sunday, Iron Range upset Thunder Bay 5-4.
