The waiting game is over for the Dryden Ice Dogs.
The Dogs now know they will play in the Superior International Junior Hockey League Semi-Final against the Fort Frances Lakers.
The Thunder Bay North Stars made a late push for Dryden’s third place position but that ended with a 5-3 loss last night against the Lakers.
The Stars and Minnesota Iron Rangers will now play a Best-of-3 qualification series.
The winner faces the Minnesota Wilderness in the other Semi.
The Dryden-Fort Frances series is tentatively scheduled to start on March 22nd in Fort Frances.
