In Red Lake, the Miners jumped out to a 7-0 lead and didn’t look back, cruising to an 8-2 win over Fort Frances.
Michael Di Lullo and Stratton Pickett both scored a pair of goals, while Bryce Young, Kyle Uzelman, Spencer Milne and Kaiden Hodgson added singles.
Zach Wilms made 26-saves for the win.
In Hoyt Lakes, the first place North Stars survived a scare, holding off the Iron Rangers 3-2.
