Hockey Northwestern Ontario has turned down Dryden’s bid to leave the
Superior International Junior Hockey League for a second time.
The Ice Dog Executive met with the entire HNO Board of Directors on the
weekend to appeal an earlier decision preventing the club to move to the
Manitoba Junior League.
Team Spokesperson Brian Patterson says they are now taking a wait and
see approach and investigating their options.
The club can file an appeal with Hockey Canada or stay with the SIJHL.
Several team officials have gathered in recent weeks to explore
expansion opportunities, even though the League has failed to make its
intentions known.
