Ice Dogs Beat Golden Hawks

The final road trip of 2004 is going well for the Dryden Ice Dogs so far.

The Ice Dogs beat the K&A Golden Hawks 2-1 Thursday night.

After falling behind 1-0, Blair Oversby scored the Ice Dogs first goal.

Sean Bassingthwaite notched the eventual game winner.

Shawn Szachury made 27 saves for the win.

Dryden is now alone in third place in the SIJHL standings, 1 point ahead of K&A.

The Ice Dogs will now face the Fort William North Stars today and tomorrow.
