A shorthanded Dryden GM Ice Dogs team couldn’t close the gap between them and third place Thief River Falls Sunday.
The Norskies scored three, third period goals, including two on the power-play, in a 6-4 win over the Ice Dogs at the Memorial Arena.
Kevin Parra-Vaughn scored his first SIJHL goal, while Eric Stout, Rayman Bassi and Trygve Many Guns also found the back of the net.
Dryden GM outshot the Norskies 40-39, with Carson Murison suffering the loss.
The Ice Dogs are now nine points back of Thief River Falls in the standings.
