It was a tough weekend at home for the Dryden Ice Dogs against the top team in the SIJHL.
The Ice Dogs dropped a 5-0 decision to the Fort William North Stars Friday night.
Dryden’s Colin Spencer scored a goal for the Stars.
Graeme Harrington stopped 29 shots for the Ice Dogs.
On Saturday, Fort William went 3/4 on the power play en route to a 4-2 victory.
Tristan Allain and Ryan Helbling found the back of the net for the Ice Dogs, while Harrington made 22 saves.
Dryden went 0-9 on the powerplay.
In other SIJHL play, the Marathon Renegades won their first game in 22 try’s. Their first ever win came Sunday night, a 8-6 victory over the Thunder Bay Bulldogs.
