Ice Dogs Fail To Pick Up Four Points In Hoyt Lake

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs squandered a 3-1, third period lead in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Minnesota Iron Rangers Saturday night.

The Ice Dogs got goals from Cory Dennis, Eric Stout and Ted Davis, his first in the SIJHL.

Dryden GM outshot the Iron Rangers 51-30.

The Ice Dogs gained a point and moved two points back of first Thief River Falls.

The Norskies lost 3-2 on home ice against the surging Thunder Bay North Stars.

The Stars have won twelve straight and are only five back of Dryden GM.

In Cochenour, English River downed visiting Fort Frances 5-4.

Jacob Siebenga, Stratton Pickett, Nic Herringer, Landon Russell and Brody Jennings scored for the Miners.

Michael Lenko made 28-saves for the win.

The rematch is Sunday at 2:00 back in Cochenour.
